At Greenleaf Turkey we take pride in being turkey specialists. Because of turkey, we grew from a small catering service to an expanding business with a focus on healthful food production.
As the demand for healthier yet flavorful menus increased, we made the best choice for our customers: using turkey as a substitute for beef and chicken in our meals. We didn't stop there, however. "How can we make more people view turkey as a delicious everyday food item not only a Thanksgiving dish?" and "how can we dress it up in a new way?" we thought. The answer came to us in a package:
A burger patty is "everyday food"; lean ground turkey is healthy and nutritious; turkey's mild flavor makes it adaptable to flavors of other foods; vegetables, spices, and herbs are not only healthy and nutritious, they are packed with flavors. We went to work and came up with a winning combination. The outcome was a new breed of healthful, delicious, savory, nutritious turkey burgers that our customers could not get enough of. The more we catered our turkey burgers, the more they were in demand. So this is what we focus on now. We infuse our turkey burger patties with the rich flavors of garlic, spinach, red pepper, mushroom, spices, onions, and herbs! Morevoer, our work with vegetables, spices, and herbs inspired our all original veggie burger which includes seven grains and vegetables, all made from scratch and gluten free.
In June 2010 our company was incorporated; in November we started our facility in Novi and obtained our license from Michigan Department of Agriculture; and in December we started production. We hope our turkey and veggie products provide our customers with a delicious and healthy diet alternative. Meanwhile, we will continue crafting the perfect patty for you.
